Dr. Taylor travels throughout the United States lecturing about Women's Health, Breast Cancer Prevention, Healthy Living, and Integrative Medicine. Thousands of women and men have been galvanized to take action by making better healthcare choices after hearing him speak. He is a sought-after radio and television personality and has been featured in local and national publications.
In addition to running his own practice in Atlanta, Dr. Taylor also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Emory University School of Medicine where he earned his MD. To date, Dr. Taylor has completed more than 200 hours of continuing medical education in Integrative Medicine, which combines traditional and alternative medicine. When all his skills as a physician could not bring relief to his wife after the birth of their second child, Eldred Taylor, MD, began his search for a new understanding of the many factors that impact the physical health and overall well-being of women.
Driven by the desire to deliver result-producing care so patients could regain and maintain well-being in less time, Dr. Taylor reviewed women's wellness information across the spectrum, from alternative medicine to the latest medical studies and drug testing. Researching daily, he searched for connections between hormonal cycles and symptoms with the goal of finding new answers. As he gained new insights, his approach to providing care to his patients underwent a dramatic change leading to a new approach to women's wellness. Along with his wife, Ava Bell-Taylor, MD, a board certified psychiatrist, he wrote the book Are Your Hormones Making You Sick? They also publish a newsletter, "Natural Woman," which covers all aspects of women's health, integrating body, mind, and soul connection to wellness.
Now known as "The Hormone Doctor," Dr. Taylor combines his exceptional training in conventional Obstetrics and Gynecology and his experience with alternative therapies to provide comprehensive patient-focused care. He believes that patients and doctors should work together in partnership to achieve the best possible treatment outcome. Dietary and lifestyle changes along with safe and effective natural therapies can solve many problems, enabling patients to avoid surgery or synthetic medications and their side effects. However, when surgery or pharmaceuticals are needed, Dr. Taylor uses diet, lifestyle changes, and natural therapies to enhance their benefit. |
